What We DoWhat We Do
Make a difference. Act now.
War, flood, famine...every year, man-made conflicts and natural disasters devastate innocent lives. Whether short-term relief or long-term rehabilitation, World Relief stands ready to mobilize human and material resources to help innocent victims. With six decades of disaster response experience, World Relief knows how to get aid quickly to those in greatest need. In most cases, we work with local churches at the scene empowering the local body of believers to respond unconditionally.

Rescue phase in Pakistan comes to a close – attention turns to survival
Relief efforts are in full swing in devastated Pakistan. Rains have let up enough to allow helicopter fleets to resume delivery of needed supplies and evacuation of the dead and injured. The main highway going into the hardest hit northern provinces, the Karakoram Highway, has finally opened. This will increase the amount of supplies and emergency relief entering the devastated areas.
